Los Retros with special guests Hitomi Toi, JINTANA, and EMERALDS Ticket

Overview

Billboard JAPAN Records presents an extraordinary, cross-cultural musical showcase bringing together Mexican-American singer-songwriter Mauri Tapia’s solo project, Los Retros, alongside the brilliant pioneers of modern Japanese city pop and neo-doo-wop. Fresh off his performance at Coachella 2026, the California-born multi-instrumentalist is making his highly anticipated debut at Billboard Live, treating fans to his signature nostalgic sound that effortlessly pulls from 1970s and 1980s soft rock, left-field pop, and classic vintage soul.

Sharing the stage for this exclusive event are the iconic songstress Hitomi Toi, famed for her airy, coquettish vocals, and the dream-pop collective JINTANA & EMERALDS featuring legendary mixing engineer DUB MASTER X and special talkbox guest LUVRAW. Born out of real-world studio chemistry—including their brilliant collaborations on tracks like “Love Again” and “Before You Go”—this one-night-only performance brings their collective global bonds to life. Backed by exceptional musicians like guitarist Kensuke Okuda (from NONA REEVES) and drummer Nanjo Leo, this stellar lineup promises a magnificent evening of breezy rhythms, sophisticated melodies, and gorgeous urban nightscapes.
